RIP Stephen Hawking (1942 - 2018)
End of the Hawking's Era
The year 2018 has not been a very good year so far. The year has started with a series of news informing the world that few of the very very beautiful souls among us have left this world.
I belong to the area known as Indo-Pak Subcontinent. We started this year with a sudden demise of one of the most vocal voice of Human Rights in Pakistan, the great Asma Jahangir and within few weeks the people were mourning the untimely death of legendary bollywood star Sridevi. I heard many people saying that this year is taking legends away from us and this scares us.
14th March, the world witnessed another lose of the legend in this year but this time, it was not only a legend, the world has today witnessed the end of an Era. The Era of Stephen Hawking. The great Hawking changed the world through his eye lashes. The Einstein of our age who taught us that the word "Impossible" itself is telling us that " I m Possible ".
How surprising is that Hawking has left the world on the birthday of Albert Einstein. The world would remember 14th March for two reasons, the birth and death anniversaries of two Eras.
How surprising is that Stephen Hawking was born on the 300th death anniversary of Galileo and he passed away on the birthday of Albert Einstein.
He discovered the "Black Hole" and the radiations known as the "Hawking Radiations".
The medical experts had said "Good Bye" to hawking in 1974 but he decided not to give up and use the only movable organ left in his body, his eye lashes. The IT professionals of Cambridge designed a special talking computer for Hawking which has the ability to read the movement of Hawking's eye lashes and convert his thoughts into voice and words.
Stephen Hawking will be remembered as a unique human being who spoke with his eye lashes and the world listened him for decades.
Hawking, the only person who wrote numerous books using his eye lashes. His book "The brief history of time" was the best seller in the market for consecutive 237 weeks.
As news of Hawking’s death spread, images of an empty wheelchair were shared on social media:
On his death, many people are debating on his opinion about denial of God's existence, however, for me Stephen Hawking was one of the finest creation of God, who will keep appealing and encouraging the minds of those who like to think, implement and change.

- “Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters that you don’t just give up. [Stephen Hawking]”
